You are bidding on a LGB #2067 TRACK CLEANING DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE WITH FACTORY BOX . In good condition, runs well in both directions, fast and smooth. Cleaning wheels work great. Really cleans up those brass rails. There is a rotary switch on the roof that controls the speed of the locomotive when in cleaning mode. Slower for more cleaning, faster for less. Was used outdoors and has been stored for a long time. Needs a good cleaning. Has a 3 position switch located in the cab for OFF-RUN-RUN & CLEAN. Warning lights flash when in cleaning mode. One roof light is missing a cover. The contacts for the lights needs some cleaning/adjustment so the lights will stay on. The contacts are located inside the cab and the roof comes off easily to allow access. The front directional headlights work. Also has a cab interior light. Factory box is in fair/good condition and has the original foam insert. A nice, working piece for your layout that is hard to find. Replacement cleaning wheels are still available. Locomotive is available through Marklin for well over $700. All of our LGB items this month come from the estate of an advanced LGB collector who had an esxtensive outdoor layout. All of the locomotives and rolling stock need cleaning unless otherwise noted. They are in good condition and most have their original factory boxes. All of the LGB track is extremely oxidized but still serviceable. Manufactured in the 1980s. All of the LGB/POLA and PIKO structures were assembled and kept outdoors. some were covered during the winter. If you like the realism of weathered structures, then this is the place for you. Shipping for the structures is slightly more than ususal because of the packing supplies needed. Be prepared that these older structures may come apart during shipping.
